I’ve been on a social media hiatus and I think it’s time I come out of it to share some of what we’ve been up to at Faith Photography this Summer and Fall. I should probably apologize now for blowing up your news feed, because it’s gonna happen. High School Seniors are hands down my FAVORITE subjects to photograph.
It’s that time of year again, when High School Seniors everywhere get their favorite outfits together, choose their favorite locations to hang out & get in front of the camera for their Senior Portrait Session! 2017 Seniors, if you haven’t scheduled your Senior Portrait Session yet, now is the time!
Courtney is absolutely stunning & was a natural in front of the camera! It certainly shows in these sneak peeks from her Senior Portrait Session with Faith Photography. Even though Faith Photography is based in Farmington, New Mexico, Courtney wanted to go to Colorado for her Senior Portrait Session, so we off on a little adventure. We began her session on a perfect, sunny day in the mountains, mixed with a lot of mosquitoes that we certainly could have done without and we ended her session in downtown Durango, CO. The results are stunning, (AND none of us contracted West Nile) so all-in-all, her session was a success!
LiME LiGHT is a photo booth that was added to Faith Photography studio in 2015. Located in Farmington, NM, we travel all across the country for Weddings and events, with a very portable Photo Booth, that means in 2016 LiME Light will be traveling with us! LiME LiGHT introduces a fun way for your guests to be photographed, wether you’re having a birthday party, anniversary, family reunion, corporate event or wedding, photo booths are perfect for any event!
Most people are not always excited to have a photographer in their face trying to take their picture, however when someone is hosting a party, they really want to have photos of the people who came to celebrate with them, even more importantly they want these photographs to display their friends & family enjoying themselves and having a good time. Photo booths do exactly that! By allowing your guests to photograph themselves, they determine when they are ready to get in front of the camera & because they can see themselves on our display screen they can determine if they look how they want when they’re photographed! At LiME LiGHT we include all the props and a gorgeous backdrop to entice your guests to have a good time and loosen up when they jump in front of our photo booth. LiME LiGHT‘s open-air photo booth design means large groups can hop in front of the camera together, no more squishing 2-3 people into a small, tight space. The “open” design also provides plenty of entertainment as everyone is able to watch the shenanigans as they take place. Because LiME LiGHT gives you unlimited printing, on the spot, your guests get a fun keepsake to take home & you’ll get a USB of all the images taken by LiME LiGHT so you’re guaranteed to not miss a moment of the excitement that LiME LiGHT captured. To make your next event a hit, give us a call to learn about all of our LiME LiGHT photo booth rental options.
Once in a great while I will get the opportunity to photograph someone who is not afraid of the elements we are given on the day of their photo shoot. While most people would want to reschedule when it’s raining outside, Chandler is not most people! He wanted his senior session to be unique & unlike anything anyone else here has done, so when it started raining yesterday, 15 minutes into his senior session, it didn’t phase him in the least! If you know anything at all about me, you know that I too do not want to do the same type of shoot or location more than once, so when Chandler said he wanted to stand in the rain, I threw on my lens hood to prevent rain smudges on my lens & took I the shot. Our rain here lasts long enough to get your car dirty so we had to move quickly, luckily it lasted long enough to give us some cool shots in the rain! Here are a few sneak peeks at Chandler’s Senior portrait session with Faith Photography by Bree.
This girl is a rock star like no other!! Not only was she waiting to have her Senior portrait session until there was snow on the ground, but it was up to our knees and she never once complained! This was hands down one of our most favorite sessions ever!
Senior portrait sessions are meant to be all about you. A person never forgets the adventures they encounter their senior year. With ‘freedom’ on the horizon and a whole world out there to be had, the excitement and drive they exude during their Senior Portrait Session is truly addictive. At Faith Photography we love capturing this special time in a High School Seniors life and our experience has taught us how cherished these photos become in the Seniors and their families lives! From the bottom of our hearts we “Thank you”, for trusting us with such precious memories!
Here are just a few of our favorite High School Seniors from last year!! Thank you all for choosing Faith Photography by Bree to capture this special time in your lives. We’re honored!
I get soooo excited when I have someone contact me with their own ideas and concepts for their shoot, especially when it’s something out of the norm and breaking the mold! That’s the way I LOVE to work! This little beauty queen and I mean that literally because she is Miss New Mexico Rodeo Queen… she called me and said that she wanted to take her horse out in the snow for her senior pictures. I was sold at ‘snow‘ because most people want to avoid the cold in their session, so I was excited for the adventure. This session could not have possibly gone any better and I can only hope that it will inspire others to break away from the pack and turn their senior photo session into an adventure! Oh yeah and call Faith Photography by Bree to embark on the adventure with you and let us capture every detail!
I’ve always heard that you should do something every day that scares you…well, I’m deathly afraid of heights and this shoot scared the bah-geezus outta me! I tried to play it cool and act like I could climb up on this bridge over the river without freaking out, but this, I could not fake! I was shaking like a leaf and just knew me and my camera were about to be swimming in icy cold waters. Though I didn’t last long up there, Dylan was a rockstar at his Senior Shoot with Faith Photography! I just had to get creative with my angles to get the shots. 😉
