Last weekends Seattle like rain, did not put a damper on the Colorado Wedding of Chadwick & Mandi. These two have a love that shined through all the dreary clouds & was easily seen by everyone in the room! Here is a little peek into their day! I’m always so thankful when someone asks us (Faith Photography by Bree) to be their wedding dayphotographers, capturing these once in a lifetime moments are what I live to do!
Destination Wedding Photography is something that I dream of doing full time someday! Getting to visit and photograph exotic places and capture the beginning of a new couples lives together is my idea of ‘living the dream’! This year at Faith Photography by Bree, we were privileged to be asked to photograph a wedding in Islamorada, Florida. Located close to the center of the Florida Keys, this little Island town was full of charming beach homes, vibrant flowers & serene turquoise water. So far, this tops our list for 2015 for beautiful places to say “I do”! Here are a few detail images from this Island Wedding.
Cliff & Renee won a session with Faith Photography by Bree, through an Auction held early this year to raise money for Justin Solomon. They wanted to wait until the weather warmed up and we could venture out into the Colorado Mountains. Previously, Cliff & Renee had never been photographedprofessionally, so it was truly an honor to get the opportunity to photograph them. These two were like newlyweds, laughing, kissing & playing through the entire shoot, even after 15+ years of marriage! So awesome!! Getting to share in this moment & capture their love for each other was definitely a bonus for Mitchell & I. Thank you, Cliff & Renee for allowing us the honor of being your photographers.

We were so privileged to witness & capture the special day of David & Cassandra as they said “I do” on July 12th, 2014 in Durango, CO. There is just something refreshing & magical about the afternoon showers that roll through Colorado in summertime. You can almost set your watch by the summer mountain rains & they certainly didn’t disappoint on David & Cassandra’s wedding day. The afternoon rains rolled in right as Cassandra was arriving at the Church & rolled out at the end of the day, just moments before these last images were taken, by the end of the evening their Wedding Day was kissed by the sky with one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. A perfect day in every way! Thank you both for choosing Faith Photography by Bree to capture your beautiful memories from your wedding day!
This Wedding took place at Fire Fox Farms in Ignacio, Colorado. Though our home is in Farmington, NM, we love to travel for Wedding Photography & get the opportunity to experience new places and scenery. Here is a little glimpse at the Smith/Dixon Wedding. We will be posting more in the near future so be sure to keep checking back.
Here is a little peek at some of my favorites from this recent Family portrait session. Spring is in full swing and this growing family wanted their family portraits taken before momma starts showing off baby number 4! I feel so privileged that they choose Faith Photography by Bree to capture this special moment in their lives.

Today was the first day in many that the wonderful wind blew 60+mph through North Western, New Mexico. It was horrid! But this shoot was scheduled and the dress was steamed, so it was happening rain or shine, windy or not. We started the day early at Studio 907 with the lovely Lindsey doing a beautiful finger wave on Ellyn’s hair. Then we hurried off to Faith Photography’s studio for makeup and of course so we could load up this gorgeous cotton-candy pink dress; which I should mention is compliments of Dream Shoot Rentals, who hasn’t officially launched their store yet but we were privileged enough to get to work with them pre-launch!! So yea, a BIG shout out to Dream Shoot Rentals! Thank-you!!! Now, back to that horrid wind… since it decided to ‘blow’ on our day, it also blew out any chance I had of using off camera flash or even a reflector since I was working alone today. It’s days like this that I wish I was Inspector Gadget with those looong crazy extending arms and legs, those would have been more than helpful today, heck who am I kidding, most days! I was pretty annoyed by the wind to say the least, because… well I’ll spare you listening to my whining and just say, photographers will know why I was annoyed and everyone else, well, they will just think I’m whining. 😉 So, no whining from me, I mean after all how could I when this beautiful woman just had the year from hell dumped in her lap and she is out in the freezing cold, mentally telling herself she’s on a warm beach with a margarita in hand to get through what was supposed to be a fun, unforgettable experience. Actually, I think we did check off ‘unforgettable’, but fun?? Hmmm… not so sure. Either way, Ellyn sucked it up, made the most of it and didn’t complain and I’m happy to report that after she thawed out and got feeling back in her lips, she used the word “fun”, I’m almost certain it was in reference to the shoot! 😉
There will be many more photographs of women in pink dresses coming from Faith Photography by Bree this year and our big reveal of what they’re all for will be coming very soon!! I’m so excited about this project and can’t wait to share it with everyone!!
